What is Trade Journal Pro?
A lightweight MT4/MT5 EA that automatically journals your trades (CSV + screenshots) and Trade Journal Pro Analyzer that turns that CSV into a full Excel workbook with dashboards, heatmaps, equity curve, pair scorecards, cashflow, and more.
Does it work on both MT4 and MT5?
Yes—choose the platform at purchase. Licenses are platform-specific (MT4 license works only on MT4; MT5 license works only on MT5).
What instruments are supported?
All MT4/MT5 symbols your broker offers: major/minor FX, metals, indices (US30/US100/NASDAQ), commodities, Major crypto, etc.
Do I need to write anything in the Excel sheet ?
No you don’t. It’s Fully Automated. You simply run the Trade Journal Pro EA and start trading. Trade Journal Pro EA automatically track your all trade in details with screenshots and then export in csv file. Then Run the Trade Journal Pro Analyzer, it will automatically analyze your all trade in details in dashboard with Different colorful chart & Sheet. So you don’t need to touch write any single word.
How is the setup process ? is it very hard to setup or easy?
It’s a very simple and easy process to setup, simply drag and drop the EA into your any chart and run the EA. That’s it.
Does it included EA & Analyzer in all package ?
Yes, in all package its include Trade Journal Pro & Trade Journal Pro Analyzer.
Installation & Files
How do I install it?
Place the EA in MQL4/MQL5 → Experts, restart MT4/MT5, attach to one chart, and enter your email + license key. A Getting Started (PDF) is included with your download, and a video tutorial link is in your order email.
Where are CSVs and screenshots saved?

Will it open charts to take screenshots?
Only if you enable it. By default it waits for existing charts (UseExistingChartsOnly = true). You can allow auto-open if you want full automation.
What exactly is logged in the CSV?
Date, Trade #, Position ID, Symbol, Side, Entry/Exit Time, Entry/Exit Session, Entry TF, Lot, Entry, Exit, SL/TP, Close Reason, Commission, Swap, Profit/Loss (net), Pips, R-multiple, and hyperlinks to Entry/Exit screenshots.
Does it capture manual, EA, and trade copier orders?
Yes—everything in your history (you can filter by Magic and HistoryCutoff if you want).
Does the global CSV include deposits/withdrawals?
Yes—BALANCE (Deposit/Withdrawal) rows show in the Global CSV; per-symbol CSVs do not include them.
Do I need Excel?
Any XLSX viewer works, but Excel 2016+ is recommended for the best charts and filtering. The Analyzer runs on both Windows & MacOS.
What will I see in Excel?
Dashboards with KPIs and equity curve, wins/losses, profit vs loss, top symbols, time heatmaps (weekday × hour), pair scorecards, cashflow, weekly/monthly/yearly tables, running week/day views, calculators (pips & lot size), compounding, and a P/L calendar. Screenshot cells are clickable.
Licensing & Policy
How many PCs and accounts can I use?
1 PC per license (multi-PC packages available). Account slots are 1/3/5/10 (your choice) and are fixed for the term—no mid-term swaps.
Can I move my license to a new PC?
Yes for 1 time. Use the Licensing Requests (PC Transfer) form on the Contact page. When approved, the old PC is deactivated and the new one is authorized.
Can I switch from MT4 ↔ MT5 after purchase?
Not included. Licenses are platform-specific. If inactivated within 7 days, a one-time free switch may be available; after activation, a paid cross-grade may be offered (see Licensing Policy).
Refunds?
Digital product; no refunds after delivery. Please read the docs and reach out with questions before buying.
Do you offer refunds?

Troubleshooting
I don’t see screenshots.
Check Template path and that the chart is open (or allow auto-open). The EA has a queue & retry system—give it a moment on first run.
Times look wrong in the CSV.
Set CsvDateUseTargetLocal = true and adjust UTC offsets (auto or manual). You can also tweak ManualAdjustMinutes.
SL/TP or R looks off.
The EA reconstructs SL/TP from broker history with a smart time window + fallback. Ensure the trade isn’t missing broker history; you can widen the tolerance.
